Laura Wolfe is Counsel at Schwarz Law Partners LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law.
Laura has extensive experience acting for buy-side private equity investors on acquisitions and advising portfolio companies on commercial matters. She has worked across a range of industries, including renewable energy, fintech, biotech, consumer packaged goods, building products, and manufacturing.
Laura also provides independent legal advice to investors in their capacities as shareholders and directors, supporting activist endeavours and representing clients in shareholder disputes.
She is the co-author of the Directors’ Briefing (LexisNexis), a quarterly publication on board governance and corporate risk.
Laura was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. She holds a JD from the University of Saskatchewan, an MPP from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto, and a BA (Political Science) from the University of British Columbia.
